All the best relationships I had including with my now-wife felt like no one is really chasing anyone since no one is moving in the opposite direction. There was no one acting like they were iffy about the other. The interest was clearly mutual from the start. Someone always beats the other to show the first sign of interest but it's like it didn't matter since we were both interested. We were magnetically drawn to each other. No one had to pursue anybody.

However, If we replace the word, "chase", with "lead", I do like to take the lead. Like in a dance with a woman, I like to lead, and she can follow if she wishes. I prefer that sort of leading position in courtship and dates. But "leading/protecting" is very different from "chasing/pursuing".

Men will like to know that women have affection for them and desire them. However too many women act cold and distant and standoffish and the man is left wondering if he should even both trying to chase her. They then think that guy is not interested and move onto a different guy who is more aggressive and likely a fuckboy/player. Rinse repeat until she gets jaded and say she can't find a guy who wants a relationship and not hookups.

It's cool! I remember in Jr. High School, it was like I was one of the Beatles! Girls chased me all through the halls!! Must've been at least 7 or 8 of them! Chasing after me, screaming like they all wanted me! Almost every time I walked out into the hall, I had to check for girls, first! At that point inn time, girls were still yucky to me! If they were doing that now, I'd LET them catch me!

No chasing just mutual effort. Thats how it was with my ex and my current girlfriend. Both great girls honestly. I would not like a girl to make the first move though. Huge turn off. She can say hi first to make sure we talk but to ask me on a date... oh no way too forward.

The vast majority of guys have no problem and usually appreciate being approached by women. I've been on this site for 7 years and it's still wild that women keep telling each other than men prefer to chase. The polling has not changed in that time.
