935 opinions shared on Dating topic. In reality, no. I'm not interested right now at least. But in theory, Maybe. But a chase that's more flirty & reciprocated. Like a fun game where the rules are unspoken but known & respected.
And what would make it fun for me wouldn't be competing against other men. Forget that. You can have her! What would make it fun for me is getting certain unlocks or perks that others don't get very easily.
So I wouldn't say that I like "chasing" in the fundamental sense of the word. It tends to be too broad. But I like when more intricate elements are involved & it becomes a playful & more meaningful thing. I do like involving myself with people that are harder to get. But not impossible.

+1 yI prefer it to feel more mutual, like a nice back and forth, like a dance.
And, I believe if two people are equally very attracted to each other, it’ll feel more like that anyway.
It’s nice when both of you are equally as excited to spend time with each other.10 Reply

Just got turned off to the idea of dating

Oh yes I felt that in many ways. I respect that. There are a lot of people who are out there to date and it’s the most frustrating thing.

Dating is fucked now
- +1 y
It truly is though. IT SUCKS !!
- +1 y
It’s all cause of the internet
- +1 y
Okay, I say the same thing. The internet affects life all around that’s why I only have this app and no social media. In my own opinion the rate of cheaters, being left for someone else, and much more has a lot to do w/ sm. There is no respect. When you go out (anywhere) you see couples on their phone like damn put them down look around you, talk to each other, bond. It’s nothing of that such no more.
- +1 y
Cheating got really easy to do because of the internet/smart phones
- +1 y
And that is why I don’t get into that stuff. No no nooo 😂 not good for my soul and mind.

Getting cheated on hurts
- +1 y
It truly does… bad bad… I took back my ex after finding him cheating. I had that mindset like every one makes mistakes and we are able to “work through it” hell nahhh I’ve learned my lesson.
- +1 y
😂😂 when you forgive someone for doing wrong, they’re going to do it again.
Forgiving in that context is the same as rewarding - +1 y
yes yes !! You are 100% right that’s why I learned my lesson and won’t be doing that again. That was my first time getting cheated on so I didn’t know what was the right thing to do at the time. 💀 I was like damn the hell was I even thinking.
+1 yMen say one thing but like the other. Never believe what they say , watch what they do.

This whole notion of "chasing" is juvenile and something disney invented in order to make romantic sitcoms.
In real life the only way a relationship works is if 2 people are in for it and put in some effort.10 Reply- 398 opinions shared on Dating topic.

Glad you enjoyed it 😉
Personally, I don't like it.
I found out from a young age that chasing a woman you like brings you no nowhere except feeding her ego. Also, she might get the signal that you are desperate and have no other options which is a major turnoff I experienced.Best way I found out to get girls is to be so attractive, confident, succesful and rich yourself and let them chase you rather than you chase them. This is my prefered aproach nowadays.
But yeah, if women weren't repulsed by it I would do it way more often tbh.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIll chase up to a point to get the date. Other than that, I do not chase to secure a relationship, nor do I chase when they pull away in the relationship.
33 Reply- +1 y
Would you like if a woman started chasing you? If you decided you wanted to not be with her? Or talk to her no more?
Opinion Owner+1 yIf I *think* I don't want to be with her and she starts chasing me and is able to show that whatever made me start not being interested anymore has been if not fixed, then at least shown how they will fix it, if it's even fixable, then all good. If I know I don't want to be with her, then know I don't like it. When I was younger, I would admittingly feel good but at my age, I only get annoyed
- +1 y
Ahhhh, okay I see what you’re saying. I truly made a mistake by chasing someone who didn’t want me (I learned) and realized it’s annoying to do that specifically if they don’t want you. I made my mistakes by overthinking that’s it but at the time I didn’t want him to give up on me cause I was willing to fix my self but didn’t work 😂😂 lesson learned. You can not keep someone who doesn’t want to be kept.
3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. No, it gets repetitive and boring very fast.
If i do everything and she does almost nothing, then that's how the relationship will play out in the future. boring and feeling unwanted.
I need a back and forth interaction like someone mentioned here.

+1 yThe only thing a man should chase is faith and life purpose.
10 Reply 344 opinions shared on Dating topic. Yes at start like initiating contact and planing logistics but after that it should be equal. Dont want to run after someone that shows no interest, my time is better spent differently.

+1 yI don’t chase women. The last time I did, I was falsely accused. Besides all of my exes cheated on me so why would I attempt to find a partner who will just eventually cheat on me?
03 Reply- +1 y
I got cheated on for the first time. Felt horrible I wish that on no one. I wish you find the one for you though 😊
- +1 y
That’s funny because I wish I don’t find someone. 😂 I’ve been single for almost 9 years now and I can’t see myself being with someone after all of this time alone. I’ve grown too content. Besides my past experiences have given me too much resentment for women. They and myself will both be better off.
- +1 y
Well, you’re allowed to feel that. I hope one day you’ll get out of that feeling when it’s the right time. To me I think someone will make you put down that guard you have up 😊 this generation is crazy. BUUUTT, There are good ones (even tho it’s a low percentage). You deserve it. Don’t let low life shits make you think otherwise. keep enjoying that solitude!!

+1 yNo, we generally don't and only do it because we we like fucking women. A woman who is into me is far better than a woman who is playing stupid games to extract my time and resources.

+1 yPursue ≠ chase
Pursuing is with confidence, mature, knows where to let go.
Chase is more desperate, sometimes pushing too much and doesn't let go.
I pursue.
