A guy I was talking to suddenly got interested in someone else but I really liked him?

We were chatting and sexted, I really really really really liked him and I was waiting for him to ask me to be with him but he got interested in another woman.

He says he needs to think things through. I'm still talking to him hoping he might want me but my chances seem really slim.

So what should I do? Just accept that he likes someone else?

I'm 31 and he is somewhere in mid 40's or something.

I don't know how old the other woman is but it seems she could be younger than me... I don't know who she is or what she has that I don't..
