What do you regret in life the most?

For me meeting the wrong people.

In hindsight, I have spent more way more time being understanding and forgiving than I should have. I only say this because the people I ended up dealing with have really turned out to be awful people. For this particular group of people, they knew exactly what they were doing; they are just self-centered and abusive people.

I know not all people are like that, and I don't want to change my behavior towards anyone who is genuine and nice..

For the people I was dealing with, I really should have been a much meaner person.

I regret taking a two-week trip back to my country during pandemic, if not that I would be married by now and most likely expecting my first child soon.
