OK, if that's true, you can still give joy to others. In doing so, you may find that there are things that give you joy. If you are extremely old or have a terminal disease, that's different, But otherwise, what do you have to lose by trying? You will be dead in less than a hundred years anyway, and then spend the next billions of years, either not existing or in some sort of afterlife.

by the way - I've had thoughts in the past that my life was useless, that I was better off ending it. But things got better, got worse, got better. But overall I'm very glad I'm still here

Because nothing is fun, and there's so little time to do anything besides work.

I've been through many hobbies, but they get old really fast.

Then they're not enjoyable, and it's either extremely expensive or require hours of driving to endulge in.

I have absolutely nothing to look forward to, even if I did, it would be over in mere seconds, then it's back to all work, nothing else. And I don't even make much money, anyways

23 is young enough to reinvent your life completely if you want. to. It may not seem like it now, but I'm 60 and I'd give anything to be 23 again in any situation. You have all the time you need to turn your life the direction you want.

I don't because my lifespan is cut in half due to a genetic condition. And it doesn't change the fact that nothing is fun, there will never be time to do anything besides work and sleep anyway, and there's no such thing as an enjoyable job
