Guys, when you see a woman at a bar who you think is too attractive for you, do you hide those feelings and show no signs if interest?

I don’t want to sound proud, but I know I’m a decent looking woman. I’ve never had any problems dating the men I wanted, but I always have to do the approaching. When I go out and am open to meeting new people, the only men who show any interest in me are the sloppy drunk ones or men too old for me. Then I go home feeling depressed. Is it possible that men don’t want to take a chance that I will turn them down?
Is there an easy way to seem more approachable?

That's the situation we have today. Men are intimidated by attractive women and too afraid to approach because they're afraid of appearing "creepy". But wouldn't it be better, in your situation, to try and talk to guys you like, rather than put up with drunk disrespectful assholes that only get on your nerves and waste your time?

I completely understand what you’re saying and have compassion about that. It’s probably pretty scary these days to know what’s not going to be offensive to a woman at a bar.
