Depends on why they don’t have a good relationship with those people. Coworkers and neighbors not so much, but having a bad relationship with family and friends will make me hesitate because the friends and family in my life are very important to me. Like I understand if the bad relationship is the result of trauma of some kind or because the friend (s)/the family is toxic, then I understand. However, if it’s because of something that the supposed partner of mine in this situation did/said/acted like, I might have to step back for at least a little while.

Again, I’d wonder why he didn’t have friends. I’d make me question his character.
