I feel like my cousin is just using me to look good for the guy she likes what should I do?

She wants to visit me down in Toronto but she’s planning everything around the guy she likes that lives down there for the entire week but there is stuff I want to do instead as well. Funny thing is the guy doesn’t even like here that way either as he has told her he sees her like a sister but yet she still wastes time on him

I guess for me it doesn’t sound like that big of a deal. She’s asking to crash at your place rather than spend money on a hotel, who cares? In my mind that’s what family does, we look out for each other. I’m sure you will have time to hang out, especially if she’s staying at your place, it’s not like she’ll be with him 24/7. If you are correct she may not see much of him at all, but that’s her lesson to learn. Sometimes people will not listen, they have to go through the experience themselves so they can experience the results.
