Just being attracted to people of a different race doesn't mean you aren't racist. Racism is any prejudice/preconception towards another group of people on the basis on their race/skin color/etc. You can be complimentary toward a group of people and still be racist. You can also be racist towards people of your own race. For example, I'm white, but if I were to say "All white people are slobs," that would be a racist comment. Maybe not one anyone will get up in arms about, but still racist because I'm making assumptions about a group of people based on their skin tone, even though skin tone has no real bearing on the trait I'm assuming.

Because I told a white girl that she had "beautiful white skin" and now she thinks I'm racist. Most probably because I used the word white
If I had told he she had beautiful skin without the word white she wouldn't think I'm racist
Either way she's wrong. Because I'm black not white and I'm attracted to white girls.
If I was racist, would I date/sleep with white girls?

"Racist" is a term that is ferquently used, completely inaccurately, to shut down debate.
