I have had a number of friends, and a lot of them have been racist towards me because I’m half Asian but look mostly white. One friend said guys only like me when they “have a fetish for Asians”, another friend said I didn’t deserve to get hired at my job and they only hired me “because I’m Asian and they needed diversity”, and another friend said “Asians are ugly” right to my face and keeps saying I’m “pretty but Asian.” Just to clarify, I’ve never seen these people be racist towards anyone else in our friend group who’s black, Indian, etc. Why do people think it’s ok to be racist towards me and not other people?
