Honestly I would say the thirst traps are for validation, but the women who get compliments in their section or DMs are not interested or view men that do that as losers, not datable or worthy guys in their eyes. The men who get their attention are guys that are indifferent and not attached to them that much.

Speaking from experience, I have known women that do the thirst traps bit and learned quickly not to indulge them. I have had more luck and better reception from women like that by treating them like bratty little sisters and not caring what they think.

How often do you think a woman sees those "You're so sexy", "you're a goddess!", or "sleep with me!" Messages and actually entertain and follow through with men like that? Probably slim to none unless they are billionaires.

Hard to say I’ve never been a thirst trap cause I don’t like OLD MEN looking at me.
