How do you feel about shorter men?
I voted 9+, but it really doesn't matter.
It's just that I'm 6'2 and think short girls with nice proportions are cute af. I can pick them up. They are a lot of fun in bed. And the fact that they can stand toe to toe with someone bigger and stronger, and take whatever he dishes out is a tribute to the bad ass-ness of women. Sexual dimorphism is sexy.
My shortest girlfriend was 5'2". My wife is 5'5".
A man should be over 5 inches taller at least so I would go with 7-9 inches in this question.

it's not the gap it's the height of the guy. i'm tiny buy i like tall guys. if i were taller i would still like tall guys, but the gap would be less. i've been with shorter guys and that's been fine too but i prefer taller

I prefer women to be around my height. Exactly my height would be perfect.
Never made much difference to me. I'm a bit over 5'8" in bare feet and I love wearing high heels. That being said, I've dated guys as short as 5'4" and my boyfriend now is just about 6'7" in bare feet. The height issue in my experience has been more on the guy's end than mine, I dated a guy who was about 5'6" and he didn't want me to wear heels because I would "emasculate" him, lol, that's just a bit insecure I'm thinking.

I never really looked at other couples or people like that and really thought really anything about it and for me as long as she's confident.

I'm 5'4 so a woman that's literally like more than 5 inches shorter is in dwarfism range which 4'10 and under. I'm a little man myself so it's hardly ever a time in which a woman is tiny to me. They all like bigger guys so like idc but they do. I'm glad I don't tower over women. I would feel uncomfortable.
@Berethor no it's not. You can't kiss standing up. Kissing her while fucking her in missionary is harder. Both bodies aren't aligned. If a guy is too much bigger than a woman then you can't easily hold hands. A woman cannot at all rest her head on a guys shoulder if he's much bigger and even if possible it requires work. Taller men also take up more room on beds. As a short man, i have a queen bed. There is more than enough space for myself and a woman to be on the same bed and still be able to have enough room for comfortable sleep. Many other things I can think of too

@Berethor you seem to post this couple a lot. You do realize that the vast majority of the world couples don't have a huge height difference right? The fact that they don't means that there's more people that love differences that aren't huge to ones that are. You can keep splurging out random bullshit though, it's useless and doesn't speak for the whole entire world

I think couples who are the same height or close in height always look cute together. It doesn’t matter who is taller, but often the man is taller on average.
I’m 6’1” and my husband is 6’4” or so, and I think it’s just perfect. On the other hand, there’s couples like my own parents who have almost a foot and a half difference between them, and it can sometimes look strange lol.
Who the hell is saying the guy should be 9+ inches taller? Lmao. Those women are the reason guys think we all have some ridiculous height requirement.
@Berethor Genes are expressed in so many other ways besides height. Being tall is not an indicator of strong genetics. Everybody has alleles in their DNA that may be undesirable, but remain hidden as they're not expressed.

@Berethor I'm not actually denying what you said. Biologically, both men and women seek out the best looking, fittest, healthiest partners even if they say they don't. But that is just going by appearance alone, since we're not going to DNA profile every potential mate to see what kind of genetic diseases or mutations they have that they might pass onto their offspring.

In principle I do not mind when a woman is tall, but I hate it when she stresses about how she cannot wear high heels with me or similar such issues. Statistically, women who are about the same height as their partner even find it more difficult to be faithful.
So all in all I like it best when she is about 5'' shorter than myself just like my girlfriend.
They do not say it without reason: "Frailty thy name is woman". Still, it's no issue if a guy is no taller than a tall woman. It's enough for him to be taller than specifically his woman.
The optimal difference women appear to prefer is 8'', but I find 5'' is enough for all practical purposes. Otherwise she appears a bit too much like a throwabout as they say in Northern England.

I don't find anything attractive or unattractive about differences in height.
I'm 6'2" so I'm used to being taller than girls so I've never given it any thought and I haven't grown up with any height insecurities.
Height is irrelevant to me and as long as I thought a girl was sweet, had a nice face and a nice figure I'd have been interested if she were 4'10" or 6'6". I don't care about height at all.

There are some gorgeous college volleyball players that are tall and slender.
I like a woman about 5 to 9 inches shorter than me. Much more than that is awkward. Outside of that range can be okay too if I am really attracted to her. As I have said before it is the entire package that counts for attraction... not any single trait. There are a few traits that are a no go no matter what else she has... such as being fat. But besides those, its flexible.
I think there’s nothing wrong with liking tall men when majority of men like Asian women because they look like children.
So, men are in no position to judge what we like and why. They do it worse.
That being said I just got asked out by a handsome guy who’s 6’4, well over ft taller than me and I just wasn’t interested.

@Berethor I like the fact that men of all continents like me, plus I am somewhat of a mix between Asian and European, in Europe they assume I am European, in Asia they assume I am half Asian, Spanish think I am Spanish and so on.

I voted: He's 9+ inches taller than her. Height is immaterial for women but a man must be tall! A real man is tall (6ft+). 5ft10 is the absolute minimum to be considered a man. I'm 5ft8 and the ideal height for my man would be 6ft8. Manlets are yucky - not sexy at all...

@marish01, The results are what I was referring to. The average male height is 5’9” in the US - which has some of the tallest men on average in the world, the average female height is 5’4”.
I’m not sure where the overwhelming majority of women are going to meet guys 6’1” and taller. Not to mention, some taller guys like taller women.
