I think all those shown are quite delightful , and the two merge to some degree , but either way the gestures are lovely and thoughtful and I think this is what counts.

It would depend on who it comes from. If I open a door for a stranger that isn't romantic. If I open the door for my wife it can be seen as romantic.

In any case the note seems to me to be the most romantic because it is the most geniune, selfless. It seems like a pure gesture to me and its great to find a note because its normally at a time when you had an expectation of seeing the person and now that you aren't that could be disappointing but then there is this note to lift your spirits.

If you give someone flowers they haven't necessarily been in your thoughts while they aren't there because I would have thought that the vast majority of the time when you get flowers for someone you get them on the way to see them because otherwise you would be carrying around easily damaged flowers.

Generally with any kind of gifting you are there to see the reaction of the person so you get something back out of it, instant gratification.

Sure cooking together is nice and all but I think most of the time that is happening because of time constraints or because you are newly in love and are probably doing everything short of watching each other poop together.

Wait, are you all watching each other poop? Is that it? Am I a prude?

those were just examples; you are limited on how many things you can put since its not a my take. everyone has a different outlook on what they consider romantic thats why the question is worded as it is and not a poll. and who knows someone may find romantic everyones different
