If a date doesn't want to meet my parents, that's a bad sign right?

It's someone from my school. He's only 1 year older (I'm in 11th grade and him in 12th) but for some reason, he's been making excuses not to meet my parents and saying it's not needed. He won't give me a good reason why.

My parents don't want me to go out with him unless he's introduced.

My parents are not liking it at all. They're not thinking that he has something to hide and it's up to no good if he refuses to meet them.

I should think so. You ain't a man if you're unwilling to do that, bottom line.

You're under 18 (so i assume he is) so at that age it's a little understandable. But it's still expected.

It's a man's job to look her father in the eye and assuage any concerns about about her safety that night. Yeah, the dad may give him the business. But that's where the guy gets his mettle tested. A guy should WANT to prove himself. Or at least be unafraid.

But as I said, under 18 it's a little understandable him not wanting to. Don't stand for it though. You're doing him a favor. Expect him to be a man or get lost.
