So, I like almost never disagree with Steve. And when woman ask for an honest, sincere and genuine man... well Steve is all that, and some woman no matter how much they say they want that... they really don't. And every time a man speaks "his" true its labeled toxic masculinity.

Now with all that said, I disagree with Steve on this point. I know what I bring to the table before I sit down. So yeah, I want to know what she has to offer. What does she bring to the table, because that will determine what type of relationship we have. If she doesn't like what I have to offer she can get up and walk at any given time, no harm, no foul.

But yes, once you make that commitment to a lady, it is ours, as a man, to protect that emotional bond, and to care and nurture it. Her happiness is a part of our shared happiness, and I have a responsibility to honor and strive to do my part it ensures her happiness, needs and wants matter. As much as she has the same responsibility to ensure my happiness, but more importantly to our shared happiness.

So, I think that is more of what Steve is speaking to. He is not saying a man responsibility to provide and care for woman, means control or manage her. And the same is true for woman and for her responsibilities.

Yes and no, He’s not wrong about what men bring to the table is important. Yes men need to have a good paying job men need to be able to take care of a women and provide for her by getting up and going to work and making a living so that a women can stay home raise the kids make a home and cook.

i don’t think women by default being able to have children is automatically bringing anything to the table. A lot of women are shitty moms/wives and don’t really contribute all that much as a partner. I think the whole what do you bring to the table discussion when it’s directed at women is more about character stuff like actually being a good mom, a faithful and supportive wife, being hardworking etc. I think men are supposed to be the main breadwinner but with how expensive things are today it’s an antiquated notion that a family can just live solely off the dad’s income forever.

I agree with him 💯. I actually hate feminists for this very reason. They have this bright idea that a a woman has to split bills, go work in the cold world and all of that. Women are different from men. We men are made for hard life. Women need to stress less about it and focus on making the home better.

Damn the money they make. I would not allow her to work while I am alive. Not by force. If she wants to work, her choice but not to contribute to the bills. That's not going to happen while my body is still working. A simple life is better than all that money.

P. S: most people disagree with me but what is wrong if you the man works and woman stays at home? I would only expect her to not expect too much out of my capacity and be a good wife who would make ends meet with what I bring. She can have a servant to clean, good clothes, foods and fuel for her car utility bills are my headache but I won't pay for heavy make up and Gucci bags.
