I'm the type of person who doesn't believe in playing these games of waiting to reply. If I get the message and otherwise am not busy with work or something, I'll reply there and then when I see the message.
I set myself high standards and go about how I'd like to be treated, which is quick replies when able lol.

Even if I didn't know if I wanted to go or could go, I'd still reply anyway so the other person acknowledges I've seen it and am active.

Maybe a couples hrs. tops. But that's also assuming I was alerted to the message. Maybe I had my notification turned off. OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't deliberately take longer then 10 to 15 minutes. But speaking as a guy KNOWING how judgmental women are and how they will pick apart every letter of something you wrote. You can understand where a guy would want to take his time and be very thoughtful about whatever he responded with.
