This question is old, but I'll answer it anyway. About a year, year-and-a-half ago, as an experiment I opened up a blue GAG account, just to see what would happen, to find out if women and men really are treated differently here. Well, the results were really surprising, although they shouldn't have been. I was almost completely ignored, not just by the other GAG members, but by the moderators and administrators as well, i. e. the "GAG team". Not one of my questions was ever selected by them as "Great", I wasn't sent any DM's by anyone (unless it was about something really specific, and related to a question I'd asked), no one pestered me, I wasn't asked to join them on another "app", and I thankfully wasn't sent any dick-pics. When I expressed an opinion about something, I was taken more seriously by the other blue members.

And now I'm thinking, "It was wonderful!" Hmm... Maybe I should close this account and open up a blue one.

I would be willing to bet you also didn't gain followers nearly as easily as someone with a pink account. Members who have a pic of a young lady as their ava have literally thousands of followers

Define "catfished". I mean there's pretending to be something you're not which I guarantee EVERYONE has done at least once. And then there's deliberately trying to mislead someone for the purposes of drawing thier interest. That would be "catfishing".

But what if you deliberately mislead someone with no such motives but they still took a liking to you. Did you really catfish them? Or did they catfish themselves?

You could argue that I've done the latter. But I've never did it intentionally to gain thier interest.

I guess there are different levels and definitons of catfishing. I just wanted to keep it as a light conversation. If you like really hurt someone I don't wanna know! 🤐🫣 lol!

No that's my point. I don't want to hurt anyone. But you can't control how someone reacts to a certain stimulus.
