What do you think of the dating landscape in 2023?

To many interactions are not face to face anymore. So many choose to interact through an electronic device.


It seems that some find meeting someone face to face is too much work.


It is too easy to misrepresent yourself online. That can be dangerous because that individual’s body language is not apparent. You lose the ability to judge someone with your gut instinct.


Plus the inability to read body language, flirt, approach, buy that drink, and once given the invite, begin the physical contact.


All of that within an hour or so of meeting someone new.


Now that gets the juices flowing.

Not a fan. People have gotten to a disturbing place where it's become super easy for them to look at everyone around them in the context of how can I get the most I can from this person with as little effort as possible, and the convenience of digital interactions makes it relatively painless to cut people off who no longer serve your interests.

The whole thing is really sad.
