Thank you everyone, I just started wearing hearing aids a few weeks ago. Not sure when I should mention them when talking to someone. 😊

Yes, of course. I'd much rather have them wear hearing aids than have us struggle to communicate. Besides, so many people with hearing aids tend to cover them with their hair anyway so they're really not seen. Not that seeing them is so bad anyway. But I can understand those who wear them might feel self-conscious. I guess I'm one of those people who just doesn't care. If the person has a nice face and we get along and have a good time together, a hearing aid won't change how I feel about them.

In fact, I'm at a point now where I must insist that my husband get his own ears checked because I think for him--it's time.

Of course I would, for me it’s all about what’s on the inside. The person could be the most ugliest thing in the world, but he makes me laugh I’m all his 😊😊

Plus I'm likely to need them in the future anyways and I've already learned some ASL so if we need to learn that I'm on board.

yes. i am deaf in my right ear so how could i say no to that

Don't think this would be an issue for me as long as my partner wears a hearing aid. I could also learn sign language if that helps.

Yes I definitely would considering I have 50% hearing loss in one ear.

Yes. I don't see why it would be an issue unless they kept taking the hearing aids off to avoid talking to you or having important conversations.

I don't know. I got low normal hearing in my right ear. So that might be a recipe for disaster. We can't both be going deaf.😆
