How would you feel if a woman that you like, hugs you for too long?
Let me clarify first, by "like," I mean you have good feelings towards a woman. I'm not saying that you love her. I simply mean "like" - whether you like her personality, her look, and/or enjoy her presence, etc. instead of feeling neutral.
At the end of my date with a guy, he asked if he could kiss me (so I can say that he had good feelings about me, correct?) We kissed, then we hugged. He asked me if I wanted to meet again, and I said yes.
It was chilly that night. I didn't let go the first time he was about to. I said I like cozy hugs. He said that I'm a good hugger and tightened his embrace. I felt his head was on my one shoulder.
After a few seconds he might've said something and was about to let go, but I didn't feel resistance or push. I stayed and rubbed his back a little and felt his hands did the same on my back.
A few seconds later, I don't remember what he said, but I was so immersed in the cozy embrace that I did not let go. For me, it wasn't anything sexual. I just simply liked/like hugs if I enjoy spending time with someone. I've hugged guys and felt neutral while in their arms.
After some time he said something, which I didn't pay attention to and don't remember, then I let go. I noticed he held on to my one hand as I walked away.
Based on this experience, I feel that he might not have disliked me for hugging too long, but I feel embarrassed now that I'm thinking about it. I just got carried away in the hug that I didn't hear what he said and didn't let go.
We haven't texted each other besides that I texted to thank him for a good time and dinner (I offered to split but he said he got it.)
I'm just letting him talk first. He could just be busy. If he didn't ask me out again, I'd be okay with it. If he did, I would be happy to meet with him again.
