Why does a guy blocks a girl without telling her any reason even though she doesn't express him any love and treats him as a friend?

He is in love with her. He knows that she treats him like a friend and expects her to understand his feelings. She doesn't understand and instead friendzones him. He is finally fed up with her and blocked her after she continuously calls him as a friend and he assumes that she doesn't love him back. Is this a valid reason from him to block her? Is it over and never the same after he blocks her?

He’s just doing what’s best for him, and even if it’s incredibly hurtful for the woman (or even if it’s not), she should respect his decision in this case. As someone who’s lost a guy friend over his feelings, I understood when he said hard to be close with someone, gain feelings for them and not have them reciprocated. I’m sure It’s even harder advising her on other men she’s seeing, watching all the dating play out, maybe they even get into a relationship, I’m sure it’s super hurtful witnessing this and being expected to act happy or excited. I wouldn’t want a guy to suffer just to be a shoulder for me to cry on or trying to be supportive of me emotionally when they can’t even support themselves. Blocking ensures the finalization that he needs, it’s not anger or a personal attack to you, it’s just to stop you from bombarding asking for his friendship, knowing he loves you and wants more.

He clearly didn't communicate and I didn't reject him. He assumed that I don't love him after he felt ignored by me which I casually do everyone. He assumed I don't love him and he assumed that I have a boyfriend, he blocked me. I didn't have a boyfriend. He assumed because he saw me spending time with other guy friends of mine who were simply my friends. They didn't block me but only him. I know that he's the one who loved me too much but expected me to read his mind and take the first lead which I was not comfortable with and he blocked me since I was not making the first move. He given me many hints but I ignored them because I wanted him to be adult and communicate instead of being childish but he chosen to block me after I ignored him instead

So do you love him? Because it sounds like you’re very much aware of his feelings but too proud to say anything to him or take some initiative. I know we don’t know each other, so reading what I write can interpret a certain way in you’re mind, but I just want to be clear that I’m being polite with my verbiage and I hope you don’t become offended or defensive by me saying these things. It’s just my unbiased, outside perspective and from where I’m standing, you didn’t play your cards right in this situation. Like I totally get wanting him to do xyz, but also as an adult you shouldn’t expect any more than you’re willing to put out. It sounds like you’re wanting him to fight for your attention and love since you’re so used to ignoring people, but why? What makes your time and love worth more effort than his? Men want reciprocation and a bit of effort, it wouldn’t hurt to acknowledge this love and have a conversation rather than assuming he should just do what you think he should be doing. Given your expectations, then maybe him blocking you was for the better, because it sounds like you need a man who’s more assertive. Friendship just won’t work between you two though, not anymore.

Even though it's already happened and even if I realised my fault now, I don't think I have an opportunity to fix it anymore. Even though it fixes, I can't be sure that he loves me like before. I guess block is the end of any possibility of us being together

You know what love all you can do is learn from this. There will be other situations in the future where you aren’t happy with how you handled it and it’s all part of your personal growth. As of now I think there’s just some damage between you and the guy, give him space to sort his mind and focus on yourself instead.

He's moved on to other girls after he saw spending time with other guys. I guess he might even have made a girlfriend now. I don't want him anymore

You say you don’t want him anymore as if you were outwardly showing (or even voicing) that you wanted him in the first place. Your dismissive approach to all this is just you trying to protect yourself as you always do, I know about it all to well, eventually you’ve got to let your walls down for someone though. He moved onto other girls because he didn’t feel you loved him back, you have to take accountability for why he would feel that way.

Okay, I don’t think you were being fair at all. You basically want a virgin man with no kind of romantic past, and I think almost any man you meet will at least have had a girlfriend, including him. So if you know you can’t accept him, why say things like “it’s the end of any possibility of us being together”? Why go on that whole tangent about him taking the first lead and etc when it’s all pointless? No offense but your thought process was self-gratifying, wanting his attention and love when you can’t reciprocate it due to your own standards.

I absolutely agree and in no way am I implying you shouldn’t have standards. It’s just that usually the standard is more feasible, whether it’s wanting someone with money, a certain height, consistency, things you won’t have much trouble finding. You want an adult man with absolutely no romantic past, it’s not impossible but it’s going to be really hard. Your friend didn’t meet that standard, and you already knew that, so you should take accountability for how you carried on with him knowing nothing would ever come of it. You can’t deny this.

What's the point? If they are interested and ready to give you attention it's not for friendship. It might end up that way, but that wasn't his original intent.
