Why would a guy avoid a girl but not block her?

Like if he sees her in person, he'll go out of his way to physically avoid her or even her seeing him. But he won't block her on any social media and even made a new account after SHE blocked him.

He says they never dated but his behavior is strange.

Hmm that is weird behavior for sure. A few possibilities for why he's avoidin' her but not blockin':

- He still likes the attention from her even if things are awk now. Leavin' the lines of communication open keeps her thinkin' bout him.

- Blockin' is too final - this way there's still a chance of gettin' back together someday if he plays it right.

- He's scared! If he blocks, she'll REALLY know he wants nothin' to do with her. This way he can pretend it's circumstantial avoidin'.

- Dude might be immature and not ready to fully close that chapter. He wants the option to peer at her life even if he doesn't engage.

- There could be some emotional stuff there he hasn't dealt with. Avoidin' in person is easier than facin' it online too.

Who knows what's really goin' on in his head. Bottom line is she deserves better than games - if he's not man enough to properly end it, maybe she should do the blockin' for her own sanity!
