Is it hard for you to tell if someone likes you?

Like, they’re not direct but they drop hints they’re interested. For me, I’m absolutely terrible at picking up hints. I can mistake them for just being nice just so I don’t misinterpret their kindness for interest.

Thinking back on some guys in high school I think they did like me.. but I always lacked self esteem so I just took it as friendship or them just being nice because I always thought it was impossible for a guy to like me..

What if someone stares at you a lot and come up to talk to you? Like doesn’t that tell you they like you? There’s also a certain glint they get in their eyes when they’re attracted to you. I’ve noticed that look in a lot of guys that express interest in me.
