How can you tell if someone likes you or not?

A friend of mine set me up with this guy and we've been seeing each other for a while. But I can't tell from his behavior if he likes me because I don't know him yet, maybe he's just a friendly guy you know. My friend knows him better but she's also not sure about it. How can I know if he likes me or not? Is there a way to make him just show it?

There are some signs that you can tell, if you look out for them. When the person talks to you, and their voice sounds different when they are talking to you than it does when they are talking to other people, that means they are interested in you.

Also, when they are speaking directly to you, if they are interested in you, their toes will be pointed toward you. Also, their shoulders may go higher when they talk to you.

If you catch them getting a glimpse of you for longer than 3 seconds when they think you aren't looking, there's another sign.

Here's one that's a big one, but some people claim this "Grosses them out" but when the person is close enough to you, check out their nostrils and see if they are sniffing. If their nose is moving, or their nostrils are moving in and out when they are next to you, that means they are sniffing you, which means they are attracted to you. Everyone does this one, but most people deny it.

Pay attention and look out for these signs, and you can't go wrong! I hope these helped. They are full proof.

I'd like to think they make extra effort to start conversations, to maintain conversations. If you can think of a clingy man, the same can be said about a clingy woman. If they like you, they'll be upfront. Otherwise it's just professionalism or to be good service 👍😌

So I’m kinda in the same boat. I have this major crush on this guy. He’s the sweetest thing. Told me that if I have any questions for my test to let him know and he can help me with it. I mean texting is one thing for my guy as he isn’t the best texter, but when we are in person he’s the sweetest thing and always willing to help me. He’s also very clumsy and gets pretty nervous around me. So I think that’s a sign. Body language is another way to tell. Does he pick you out when you are in a group setting? My crush does that to me. Like I said though texting he sucks at it and even he says it 😂 which I’m okay with. I’m not a fan of clingy guys anyways.

I think men are a lot more simple than we make them out to be. A guy that is interested is not going to do things just because he’s a “nice guy” , he going to do things because he generally likes your company. You will be able to tell if a guy isn’t interested in you. Main sign of a guy not liking you is inconsistency.

Like is a transient phenomenon. People's opinions are always changing. If you're enjoying each other's company today then they like you today. Even if you've been together for a while you might argue every once in a while and hate each other's guts.
