Can you tell if someone recieved or didn't receive your text message?

I would like to know if this is even possible. Can you tell if someone received or didn't receive the text message you sent them? If so, how?

I texted my guy friend a "good morning :)" text this morning, but he hasn't replied. This is strange cause he always replies when I text him. I've been thinking that maybe he's mad at me or that his phone got disconnected.



But anyways, is there some way I can find out if he received it or not? Thanks.

yeah go to your sent box or wherever you can see the texts you've sent and if there is a green arrow (for verizon), then it was sent. if there's a red 'X' it was cancelled or couldn't send for some reason and if there's a green check mark that just means it was sent to a person who has verizon

iPhone iMessage tells you what time they read the text/message. But don't worry about it, he probably read it and was busy in the morning and forgot to reply.

not unless you use have an iphone and use imessage or something. but don't worry about it too much, he probably just got busy or something came up
