Become a man.

Have a purpose in your life. Focus on gaining your skill and knowledge and become proficient in a needed field. Become competent. Stay away from porn. Become fit and strong, workout and take some combat training... boxing, MMA, ju-jitsu. Devote your life to building your home and fortune. Resist the urge to party all the time and goofing off and wasting time. Dress nice and look good. Work on yourself so that you have confidence, wisdom, maturity, knowledge, you have goals and a purpose.

Don't make "getting a girl" your purpose in life. Your purpose needs to be your focus in life, helping others, charity, building a career, business, mastering the pursuits you've chosen, building a home and net worth. A woman will be a compliment to your life but not the purpose.

Be friendly. Smile and be outgoing and make eye contact at women you see and are attracted to. Be a friendly, pleasant person to be around. Flirt and ask you women you have attraction towards. Have fun. The purpose of a date (in addition to getting to know a person and to vet them) is to go do something fun. Pick activities you like to do and be fun to be around. Dates shouldn't be tense and uptight. If you like hanging out with a particular girl keep asking her to do things with you. If you've got your shit together she'll want to lock you down as her boyfriend.

If you are broke and can't pay for a date, have no purpose, have no skills and no stable home... don't worry about girls yet. Go get your life in order first.

First thing that came to my head is, watch Hallmark movies and act like the men in them, the love interests. Sometimes there's a good boyfriend and a bad boyfriend (who becomes the ex). It's women's fantasies, yes, but it could also be a blueprint to how to get, and keep, a girl. I'm not even joking.
