It depends on what he´s interested in. The more he´s interested in your life when he´s not around like for instance family/friends activities the more likely he´s thinking about having a future with you. A lifetime relationship is developed over time so if he doesn´t see the relationship as a card where he tries to get more from you than he gives, it´s another sign he´s not looking for a short story.
