My boyfriend is going on vacation to a colder climate and I want to make him a care package before he leaves. What should I include?

one or two of those new fabric long sleeved under shirts to keep him warmer.
The brand I have is called 32 degree heat.
Very thin but very warm.
I use it on my motorcycle or when I will be outside for longer lengths of time.
They pack down to nothing you can wash them in the shower, and they will be dry in the am.
Some hot chocolate mix, chicken soup, warmer socks, if he is a scarf kind of guy one of those, depending on how cold it will be maybe a head condom if he will be outside in the cold wind & snow, they make them in conjunction with a hat to afford you more protection from the elements.

how cold will it be, like in the great white north cold, like 15 to 20 below zero, or a balmy 40 degrees that have people in Florida complaining about the cold.

It should be around the teens-20s and since we live in a state where it’s hot most of the time, he doesn’t have any winter clothes or anything

ya, that might be a bit brisk for him, tomato soup and a good recipe for toasted cheese sandwiches might be good.
Any comfort food that sticks to your ribs.
We get well below zero, so it makes it pretty interesting fighting fires.
Nothing like a 15 below zero day with a nice 25 mph breeze to keep you frozen in place if you stand still too long.
He should be fine, then when he comes back, he will complain about the heat.
