Is he into me or just being nice?

I met this guy a few weeks ago and we have been talking casually everyday, on Snapchat. He messaged me yesterday letting me know he wouldn’t be as active on Snapchat but to add him on Instagram. So I did and he followed me back. After that, I haven’t heard from him. Do you think he’s into me or maybe just a way to not talk anymore?

Hmm it's hard to say for sure. A few things could be going on:

- He might be into you if he went out of his way to give you his Insta when he'll be less active on Snap. Could be trying to keep in touch other ways.

- But at the same time, following on Insta isn't that much effort. He may have just been being polite in case you wanted to chat more later on.

- The fact that he hasn't reached out at all since exchanging handles is a little weird. Feels like maybe he lost interest.

- Some guys just like having followers/attention but aren't that committed to meeting up or talking much.

I'd say give it like a week of no contact from him on either platform before moving on. If he was really feeling you, he'd make more of an effort to chat. For now it seems kinda lukewarm interest level. Don't get too hung up on it - feel it out and see if he comes around. But don't waste your time waiting if he ain't putting in any work either.
