We met at school in the 6th grade and we pretty much instantly became best friends but as the years went on and we got a little older I started to notice how cute he is and I developed a crush on him but I was too scared to tell him because I thought if I said I liked him and he didn't like me back things would be weird between us anyway fast forward our last year of high school he kinda started dropping hints that he liked me too like I was on my way to science class once and he held the building door open for me and another time we were on a college tour together and I got cold and he gave me his jacket but I was oblivious and thought he was just being nice because he's one of the nicest people I have ever known anyway fast forward again and it's the summer before we started college and he texted me one night and asked if he could tell me a secret and I said sure and he told me that he liked me and he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes and we've been together for a little over a year now

No one would believe me nor would they approve but so what. We met in a hospital I hurt myself but I really just wanted to get away from a very toxic and abusive environment at home. He was there cuz he said he thought about hurting himself but he just wanted to get off the streets cuz he had no home he was in the system then kicked out when of age. We met there we played Uno all the time answering questions about each other depending on who won but we got to know each other in that week we were in there together. We met again when we got out a week after and started dating started living together a month after cuz I had a home but he didn’t and we knew more about each other than we thought we had. We have had an amazing relationship almost had a baby twice now but we’ve been doing good now no accidents no nothing like that cuz we’re both fresh in our twenties and while some may think we’re to young or not mature enough. We’re more mature than anyone realizes and we’ve had to be and become more mature than our ages cuz of childhood issues we both had. We love each other we’ve been together a year and I proposed and he said yes and everything has been going amazingly since then and we’re sure we want to be together forever or at least try. And we won’t get married until we’re ready.
