Boyfriend looking for attention of other girls?

Hi looking for some advice 😔😠 my boyfriend went out last night night to his Christmas party, and he got home around 3am, he had no keys so he woke me up and I let him in. Just want to add I'm 36 weeks pregnant. Anyways so I was awake then and chatted to him for a bit, asked how his night was etc. He was so drunk, and when he's drinking he gets very chatty amd flirty with people. I have seen him like this with my own eyes and he would invite people to the table. Ok so basically he turned around to me and said " even with my new teeth and lovely clothes, I looked well and I still got ignored tonight"
I said well who you trying to get noticed by? He just ignored me then he said he asked a girl to take a picture of him abd his friends and he was like don't worry I asked the ugliest girl. For a start thats just so mean to even say! Amd second I feel like he's just lying or something. I'm annoyed now and he said I have to ,"cop on" and I'm over reacting and he was "joking"
Didn't sound like a joke to me. If I said anything like that to him he'd actually dump me honestly it's one rule for him and not me.

Ah man that's such a dick move on his part. I'd be pissed too if my girl was almost due and he was acting like that.

A few red flags here:

- Coming home wasted at 3am when you're that pregnant is inconsiderate

- Complaining he wasn't getting attention from other girls is shady as hell

- Calling someone else ugly as "a joke" is just mean

I definitely wouldn't let him brush it off as nothing. Sounds like he was angling for validation from other women even if it was "just chatting." I'd say trust your gut - you obviously know him best.

If it were me, I'd have a serious talk with him about respecting you and the relationship, especially now. No more late nights out wasted without you. And he needs to drop the flirty crap or it'll only get worse. Pregnancy is hard enough without that kinda BS to deal with.

Don't let him make you feel crazy - your feelings are valid. Put your foot down that his behavior changes or you don't need that drama right now. He should be supporting you, not seeking attention elsewhere behind your back.

When you stay with a man knowing how he is. That’s you willing to put up with his BS, no complaints.


If you know how he is when he drinks. Talk to him about it. A real man would to put his woman mind at ease. Especially his pregnant woman. Compromise with her. Like, only drink when he’s at home, or if he does drink while out know his limits. That would get rid of the problem of flirting while he’s out. When he flirts it’s not only disrespectful to you, but to y’all relationship.


It sounds like he’s seeking the attention of another woman plus validation. You are dating an attention seeker. That alone is a red flag. Then it sounds like the relationship is one sided. With he can do, but don’t you dare.


A man can do a million good things inside the relationship. But a few really bad things can still out weigh the millions of good that he done. I had to learn that with my ex.


Talk to him when he’s sober. Express how you feel, how his actions affects you. Put everything on the table. After, don’t say nothing else. Just sit back and watch. Never tell another grown person what they can and can’t do. Never question them like they are your child, or like you got them in an interrogation room playing detective. Never beg someone to act right. Let him do him, you observe stay quiet. If nothing changed, he’s still doing him. Now, it’s time for you to do you. Leave.
