Agreed, that's why I put they were equal in every other way. Same personality and everything.

As I mentioned it really is irrelevant to me. I guess shorter and not overweight just because he would likely live longer and would be able to do things together, like hiking (you didn't specify how overweight). That said, I was engaged to a shorter man but recently fell in love with a tall overweight guy. I don't like simplifications because annoying people like to turn around and say women don't like this and this when it's just not true, for all of us. At the same time these men want supermodels.

It's more about him as a man than how much he weight. You can lose the weight easily with proper motivation, but it's hard to fix personality
