I was way too understanding and patient with people in the past (mostly because I would rationalize their behavior as a joke or the person simply not knowing any better), but now I have a two strikes and you're out policy.

It's usually more like 1 strike and, if it was genuinely a mistake, you're on some mighty thin ice.
