Well, like any other place, if they are single and find the guy attractive, they like it when he does that.

I don't think girls ever like when guys try to get their number. The only times I've ever gotten a number was when I wasn't trying and it just happens.

One of the reasons I asked this is there is so much talk about men don’t approach women in public anymore it’s all online. I also know that if a women is at the grocery store she’s probably not going to be dressed in a way that she will feel comfortable being approached. Even though we as men don’t care if you’re in sweats hair up and no makeup. Obviously if we are trying to ask you out we find you attractive the way you are.

I shop at a grocery store with a Starbucks. If I would see someone attractive in the produce section I say something normal to them and walk away and continue my shopping. Women are usually caught off guard so let it marinate. If I would bump into them in other aisles and we had conversation that showed interest then we ended our shopping with a coffee at Starbucks. Then I could decide if I wanted her number
