Still no. Politics is the biggest wedge issue you can put into a relationship. I saw so many marriages and relationships fall apart in 2016 and during Covid that got really, really nasty. The politics don’t have to align perfectly, but they can’t be polar opposites.

I respect the my body my choice perspective, and I don’t think giving the government power to dictate what we can do with our own bodies is the best solution, but it’s a complicated situation. From a strictly legal perspective, Roe V. Wade didn’t have a lot of teeth. So I tend to agree with the SCOTUS decision to push it back to the states. I personally think abortion is a horrible thing and should be a very rare occurrence with the amount of readily available birth control and condoms.

I will say I think abortion is going to become an even more divisive and wild discussion once the birth rate momentum falls out and countries populations start to decrease.
