I've dated from 18-65 in my 30's. That being said, the extreme tends to not last. Most men 18-24 are incredibly immature.

The last young one and I tried for a bit only because he would go between sounding incredibly mature to sounding like he has Peter pan syndrome. Weird extremes. The mature periods made him very suave and he understood things better than most men ever will. But, the immature was incredibly bad.

Older men dating younger tend to have a young fetish, and it grosses me out. Plus, I'm not that into guys taking pills to have sex. That part's a me issue. I just cannot get turned on if pills are involved.

The only perks to older men throughout life are that they tend to chill, misbehave less, and have more money. I have money, so while that's nice I don't need it.

I prefer men 25-30. Most tend to peak in that range with maturity hitting just before physical goodness drops. There's a slight overlap. So, I'd definitely still date younger and have many times.

My second husband was 24 I was 30.

My last boyfriend that died was 5 years younger than me.

My first husband was 18 months younger.

The first kid I was seeing was a year younger.

It happens but I personally would not. Younger men annoy me. Some women prefer younger men because it makes them feel desirable. Younger men are more clingy & emotional - traits they’ll eventually lose with age. Not only that but older women have the upper-hand in these relationships since they’re wiser - they know it’s just for fun and when to leave before they’re left.

I think older women date who they are compatible with, regardless of age, though most women will have a ‘cut off’ age. Or is that just me?

I can't see a regular everyday woman getting with a younger guy. If they do its usually for sex and that's it because a younger guy (a regular one) cannot be providers most of the time.

Now in wealthy circles where there are young men like Ryan gosling, Harry Styles and nick Jonas they have older wives who are also wealthy. So I can see that working.

When I was in my late twenties, I was involved with someone 7 years younger than me. That wasn't the only time so of course. However, sadly, I think for long-term relationship, men tend to go younger for whatever sad reason!
