Are older women actually attracted to younger guys?

I train at a small gym probably a total of 12 hours a week. I've gotten to know a woman there who trains even more than I do. We talk a lot about training and say hi whenever we see each other. Lately she's been acting differently, like she's trying to change our relationship. It *almost* seems like blatant flirting. What makes me wonder is that based on what I know, she's about 40. She's in amazing shape and doesn't look it, but she is probably 10-15 years older than me. Is it possible she is legit trying to flirt with me or maybe doesn't know how old I am?

I can speak to that as an older woman and one that trains regularly at the gym. Yes indeed we can be attracted to younger men., Granted they do not have the gravitas of older, more influential men, they do have a lot of energy working for them. I rejoice at the accomplishments of a young chef who trains with me, and we flirt together. He involves me in many of his ;life decisions and yes we have gone out together and have been in bed together. Not sure I want to settle down with this guy but he is a nice diversion.

I'm not sure I'm okay with an older woman thinking of me as a trinket, as someone who can be pushed around. That's part of what doesn't sit well with me. Does she think I'm someone she can manipulate as a game? I don't know.

Why would you think that? It does not sound like any manipulation is going on. I think she is flirting and that's ok. Ask her out for a drink after the gym and get to know her.

Yes, older women can be attracted to younger men. As long as there is good chemistry and mental maturity on the younger man, it could be a great hook up. The real question is, are you attracted to her and want to take it to the next level? If yes, flirt back. Ask her out and see what happens! Older women don't have as many sexual hangups and they know what pleases them and how to please you.

I don't know why it's assumed that younger guys are immature. I served two deployments in Afghanistan, so I've had a lot of responsibility placed on me already in life. Not all older people are mature. I get the feeling she might think she can manipulate me in a way since I am younger, like the way some older men date younger women so they can have their way. But there is definitely chemistry. She has an amazing body that she isn't shy about showing off, and I compliment her on it. She actually asked to see a tat I have on my chest, which I took as a flirt. And there is tons of eye contact. It seems like everytime I look over at her in the gym she looks at me. I'm just not used to anything other than serious relationships.

I agree with your assessment. She's going to want you even more once she realizes that you're not that easy to manipulate. If I were you, I'd build the sexual tension and make her work for it. Good luck!

Well i knew a woman around 40, mother of three boys, and her boyfriend was 19. they were totally happy, she knew how to keep him satisfied and happy.
Personally i like guys my own age or a bit older
