That’s interesting. I was about to say, ‘do they really, though?’ But I think it has to do with post nut clarity. Sometimes with guys, cheating is more opportunistic and instinctual. We do it because it’s offered or available to us with no intention of wanting to undermine our other relationships. It just happens, and we genuinely feel bad because we’ve let passion overcome reason. For girls cheating tends to be more deliberate. It’s more I was angry, lonely, jealous, neglected, unloved… There’s always an excuse. The answer’s never, I don’t know why I did it, it just sort of happened.

Dunno if that's true or not but... Generally speaking, if you have a victim mentality then everything bad that happens to you or around you is somebody else's fault. You can't feel guilty if you believe you're blameless.
What Guys Said
A guess- back in more brutal times, for the vast majority of the time, a woman's main defense against an invading army was to let them screw her. A man's main defense was a weapon, in part to stop them from screwing his mate or potential mate.
I dunno. I could not live with my self if i cheated. I could not live with my self if i betrayed my wife like that. I think cheaters that have no regret, or only show any kind of remorse when caught, never really loved the person they were with to begin with.
A man can cheat on his girls and still love her, which is why he cares about potentially hurting her feelings. When a woman cheats on a man he might as well be dead to her so his feelings don't matter to her.
Because cheating is so much more harmful when a guy does it, versus when a woman cheats. This is my opinion only.
Women are missing the "guilt" piece of their personality, which is why women so casually destroy their marriages, families, kill their unborn, and otherwise wreak havoc.
I’d say it’s down to the individual. Girls feel guilty as well
