I have a crush on my mother's friend's son?

Hi I'm new here,

A few days ago I attended a wedding, Older cousin was getting married and the wedding was really crowded with people, My mother ended up inviting a friend of hers which I've never heard about to my cousins wedding, She came to the wedding and introduced herself to me and then after went to my mother, and then her son came after that and oh my lord, He has the most beautiful face and eyes I have ever seen in my life O_O

I was really nervous to approach but I ended up mustering the courage to approach him, we talked for a while and even danced which I enjoyed really much ^_^ I have noticed other women giving me death stares and it really made me uncomfortable, when we were dancing. I really want to ask him out on a date and don't know how to approach this because I'm a really shy and awkward person irl please help me 😞 I am really interested in this guy, my mother was telling I should go for it
