Hemorrhoids and sex?

This is embarrassing as hell lol. I'm dating a guy and I'm going on a date with him in 2 days. I know its likely that we'll be having sex because the past few times we have been together he has been hinting his want for it and I'm ready for it too, which I have told him. BUT I've got a problem. A hemorrhoid has come around now. I've dealt with it back and forth for a few years (it used to be worse when I did heavy lifting). I feel embarrassed to tell my guy what is going on. I've never had sex before either, and I don't want this to ruin my first experience. Any advice?

Well, you definitely want to stay away from the back end, of course. It needs to heal.

Don't know if it could ruin the sex, especially as it's your first time. Maybe. It might be a good idea to wait. Yes, it's embarrassing, but guys are pretty good with bodily issues (they seem to sort of find that stuff interesting and they like raw honesty about stuff like that - and you've got a legit reason for it, with the heavy lifting). If you did talk about it, it would probably bond you more. (Is he mature, generally?) See what he says and thinks about it. Does he know it's your first time? He should know he's your first. He needs to be extra kind, gentle, patient, anyway.

Depends how painful the hemorrhoid is and the position of it, but it may not be comfortable to be as physically flexible. Also, lying in missionary may feel worse than being upright and being able to get into whatever position suits you. You don't want to put pressure in the area.

I don't mean that it would prevent it, I just don't want it to kill the mood. It gives me some pain and I don't want the looks of it to bother him
