there's a misconception about gold diggers. ALL women want a man who's successful, but that does not mean a man will readily hand over that money to their girl unless they're already dating, in a relationship, happily married etc. men are not stupid, you can sniff out whether she's interested in your money or yourself as a person. a woman who wants you for your money will continue to borrow your money, a woman who likes you as a person asks to spend time with you.

Do not tell them your profession until they already like you as a person; otherwise, they'll be after your lifestyle, not You. I'd recommend meeting people in real life at gyms, social sports meets, and events; and hold off on talking about profession.

I think they’re overblown in society. There are fewer and fewer rich people as the wealth keeps getting marginal, while the rest of us battle for scraps.
