How can a ugly guy have a successful dating life?

I'm ugly and to make this worse I'm also brown (the least desirable according to women). I have tried asking a few girls out so far it's been a no. I certainly have tried and I am trying.

What can I do to improve my situation or what can I do to improve my dating life.

Some of the ugliest guys have had hot girlfriends. It's really not a big deal. But those guys had charisma and/or built their lives up to be successful WITHOUT women. Women have a way of finding success.

Imagine if a woman who physically looked repulsive came up to you and said, "Date me and I promise I will get into shape, get surgery and do whatever it takes to look hot". Would you go for that? This is what a guy is asking of women when he doesn't have things that attract her. But looks matter way less to women than you think. It's all the other stuff that matters more.

Here's an interesting story.

Guy walks into a bar, sits down and orders a drink. He looks around the bar and sees this really ugly guy in the corner, surrounded by several women. He asks the barkeep, "Who is that over there? Why so many women?". "Oh, that's Bill," says the barkeep, "He comes in every Tuesday, sits in that corner and just licks his eyebrows."

Moral of the story. Actions speak louder than pictures.

Get hobbies and meet people there. Then people can take their time getting to know you.

Develop yourself - learn a few jokes, go to therapy and learn some social and emotional regulation skills.

Find a hobby where you can meet people - may I suggest Magnet Fishing.

Update your wardrobe if necessary and get healthy. But do all of this for your own sake and no one else otherwise you'll be right back here

You need to accept yourself. Your comment 'to make this worse I'm also brown' and yet take a look around and you will see some guys who match all of your description doing perfectly fine. I know a guy that is brown, looks about 4ft but may be almost 5ft and he is married with children. But when I talk to him I can tell he has accepted himself.
