Why do you not post your partners on social media?

I'm sure this topic has been here before, but let's knock it out again, the world changes pretty quickly. For me. It means that the girl is not serious enough, I don't want people to know that I am involved with her, even though we might be monogamous. The other girls that are potentials, I don't want them to be dismissed for somebody who may or may not last the distance.

I rarely post any stuff on social media, I don't tag people in stuff and generally don't talk about my life on there. The people who know me know who I'm dating and the ones that don't... well their thoughts on my relationship don't matter to me.

I've known plenty of people who are married or in LTRs who don't post about their SOs on socials, just like I know plenty of people who don't even put real pics of themselves as their profile picture.

People stick their noses in other peoples business. I like to keep my life private, I don’t need to share every part of my life with the world. I don’t post anything about my relationship on social media other than my relationship being listed on my Facebook profile.
