+1 yI don't know if im masculine but I’m definitely more tomboyish than girly girl. You just need a guy that prefers that. My guy is cool with that. We just about wore the same shit on baecation 😂 One day i had on a baseball jersey with ripped jeans, a baseball cap, and trainers. he's not bothered by that shit as long as im still girly underneath all that. When in the bedroom, i dress sexy and have cute lace or floral bras and panties and thats more than enough for him. He can tolerate my 80% tomboy 20% sexy seductress side. I’m sure he would prefer to be the only one to see that sexy side of me anyways

+1 yI could, but that's just me. I tend to like a mix of fem and masculine in my partners. I tend to find women with abs and muscles attractive.

+1 yI might be able to get over the masculine fashion at some point but my biggest difficulty would be competing over the leadership/protector role in the household. It's like if the building catches on fire and we both want to lead each other in the opposite direction, we'd both die. I think every household needs a designated executive decision-maker to resolve conflicts and I need to have that responsibility to feel like a proper man.

+1 yNo, but wearing mens clothing and sharing hobbies with a guy is NOT being masculine, masculine/feminine is about how your face/body physically looks, not your habits, hobbies, interests, or sense of style.
I would prefer a very feminine cute looking woman who does not wear makeup, wears pants and hoodies, and plays video games and draws and likes sci-fi and bugs and dinosaurs and anime.01 Reply- +1 y
Feminism though is just man hating, so she can't be a feminist.

+1 yWell. Most feminists hate men so… I don’t know if you can really call yourself one.

+1 yI'm not attracted to it personally, but I'm sure there are people out there who are.
My wife is a bit tomboyish. She rarely does makeup and is more comfortable in sneakers than more feminine shoes, but she's not cutting her hair super short, nor trying to appear masculine. She's authentic to herself, and I love her for it. I'd say we're both feminists.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yA clear distinction must be made:
If a woman looks feminine, dresses well, but has a tomboyish demeanor, that's fine with me, in fact the contrast between the two makes her more attractive in my opinion.
If a woman does everything to look like a man aesthetically, shaved haircut, men's clothes, etc., then I don't like her at all.
40 ReplyI think the problem most of the time for me is weather the masculine woman is even into me. Being tom boyish can work in a girls favor to be honest. So I dont see why not in that aspect. But if she is very of the stereotypical hyper macho media based masculinity that is super stubborn, then yes major problems. Id rather not hedge my bets with such a person, but to each there own.

+1 yHaha, no chance... at least not as you're describing yourself. I've dated a lot of military women and a lot of competitive athletes. They still looked great in a cocktail dress.
20 Reply I find it interesting, the main problem is if she is more masculine than me. :)

I've converted a few on that sub-reddit "ConvertingFeminist"00 Reply 1.8K opinions shared on Dating topic. It’s not attractive to me. Having everything a man does short of a schlong doesn’t appeal to me in a romantic sense.
We may get along, but I would have problems raising the proverbial mast if you know what I mean.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIt would be HIGHLY unlikely for me, to be honest. I'm attracted to feminine girls and I'm not really a fan of modern feminism (or identity politics more broadly).
