I have a crush on someone, who seems to like me back in person, but when we chat, he’s a slow replier, and when one time I asked him about it, He told me that he did not consider that a measure of a person's importance to him, but I explained to him that it was for me and nothing had changed. I really try to understand him, but it is a bit annoying when he responds after a day or two and I have lost the passion to continue talking to him.

Man that's a tough one. On one hand, I get why slow replies would bug you and make the conversation lose momentum. That's annoying for sure.

But at the same time, maybe cut this dude some slack if he shows he's really into you in person. Could be he's just not glued to his phone like that. As long as he doesn't leave you on read forever and still makes an effort, might not hurt to give him another chance.

I'd say hit him up one more time, keep it chill, and see what's up. If he gets back to you in a day or two again, maybe have a straight talk like "look, texting is important to me. can you try replying sooner?"

Give him a chance to understand your POV too. If nothing changes after that, then for sure move on. But for now, one more text couldn't hurt. You never know, in person y'all could really vibe. Just say what's up, see how he responds, then you'll know for sure where his heads at.

Yes, reply back. I don't see why you wouldn't. He has his opinion on the timing of the texts & you have your own opinion on them. Don't get excited by the though of him, don't expect quick texts, don't take him seriously. Now that you know his rhythm, you can expect slow texts. Flirt & text with other guys that meet your timing standards. Have fun!
