It sounds like this guy is giving you mixed signals and messing with your feelings. When someone says they like you but don't like you at the same time, that's not okay. You deserve someone who is very clear about their interest and who treats you with respect.

Taking distance was a good move, because it showed him what it's like without you around. But the fact that he still hasn't given you a straight answer tells me he just wants you as an option, not a priority. You shouldn't have to wait around and wonder how he really feels.

Personally, I think it's time to cut him off for good. Don't be his fallback plan. You deserve so much better than wondering where you stand. It'll be hard at first, but staying away will help you move on and find someone who appreciates you 100%. Don't waste any more time on a guy who can't even decide if he likes you or not! You're an awesome catch - his loss.

Yeah, I’m feeling kind of hurt right now… a little more than I’d like to admit but time to keep it moving. I won’t be looking back either. Maybe later on he’ll realize he lost someone who out him above everyone and anything else. I usually give in when he looks for me but I won’t be doing that anymore. I deleted everything.

Yea that surely sounds like a disappointing thing to come across but there's plenty of people in the world, and those that will return the same effort you put in for them as well, at least he was somewhat forward with it so you save time, precious time you can't buy in a store for that matter ha 😆
