Why would a man start lagging in texts after he begged me for a second chance?

Literally the reason I cut him off was because he didn't text or call for 3 days and then later told me it was because his phone died and his grandpa was in the hospital. So he begged for a second chance and now he doing the same thing again which is taking forever just to answer is phone.

If I had to guess though, it seems like he may not be fully over whatever made him flake out last time. Like if his grandpa thing was real before, he's probably still stressed. Or maybe he's losing interest again and distracted by other stuff.

I wouldn't trust what he says 100% either, cuz guys will say anything when they're afraid of losing us! But still, if he wants you back he needs to prove it with his actions.

I'd calmly tell him you like clear communication, not random disappearing acts. See what excuse he gives this time. If it's not a good reason, well then you know you deserve better than games. His loss!
