We’ve been dating for 2 months. He has already visited me twice. At first everything was perfect, then communication started to drop off from his side with the excuse of being busy with work. He’s opening up his own business next month. Should I move on?

In any relationship I think those beginning stages (first 1-3 months) are when everything is wonderful because the relationship is fresh and new, your rose colored glasses were on. Now the veil is lifting and you’re seeing who he really is without the mask. He just may not be someone who knows how to prioritize his relationship or create a healthy balance between work and real life. On top of that, he may not be someone who does well in long distance relationships. The initial desire is usually there because you two connected on a mental level, making you immediately compatible and wanting to explore that connection. Now he is having to face the difficulties of distance, like only seeing his girlfriend twice in eight weeks, that’s really tough and I know you feel it too. The only difference is that you may be more willing to cope with it than he is able to. Facing this reality is when you decide whether or not the relationship works anymore and whether you should stay or go.
