I have some that I think are very physically attractive that I've been close friends with for many years, before I even met my wife. One of them:

She's a wild woman though and not my type even though she's very attractive. She's always getting drunk and getting into brawls and gave me a black eye once trying to break up a fight between her and a guy. She's hilarious and fun though as a friend.

Now she is a close friend to my wife as well and both of us are now married.

most of my best friends are women... and they are very attractive, yes, is it okay? of course it is okay to have friends

but, here's the thing... while I do find them to be very attractive, that is just because they are VERY attractive... I however do not feel constantly attracted to them myself, there's a difference, if I were feeling constantly attracted to them then I would not friends with them because I would have very different things in mind other than being a friend

the other thing is... while I was friends with these very attractive girls, I was also in love with my even hotter girlfriend and in love with her, attracted to her and so on

and they had their boyfriends too

That is because it is a bad idea to befriend people you want to be with. The friendship is not genuine when you have an ulterior motive. Also, you are hurting yourself.
