Guys- can you ever be just friends with a woman you find attractive/hot?

I’m just wondering, I’ve been friends with this guy from university for years now and he never felt the way I did for him but he told his friends he wanted to sleep with me and when my hair was messy once he said ‘is that your sex hair’, I’m sure he finds me attractive at least even if he won’t admit it.
So recently we caught up and I assumed he was single by the way he was acting but he waited weeks to tell me he’s actually married.
He said he’s happy to be friends but can a guy be friends with a woman he thinks is hot? And he can see my social media again- pics etc- what do you think?

Yes... I've been friends with attractive people for 8, 12, 16, and even 20 years

and I did not spend all those years being attracted to them no...

there is a clear difference between finding someone attractive because they ARE attractive... and finding yourself attracted and interested on someone, very different things

Yes if that’s all she’s willing to be. If a friend of mine said she’d want me sexually I’d go for it. I think most men would. Why do you think we tend to make friends w attractive women? Because deep down a majority of us would plow our hot friends.

I don’t trust him anyway, I wanted to be friends sincerely with him but I don’t want to hurt anyone and respect his relationship. If he is single one day maybe but even then he doesn’t seem to respect his wife much.
